Every home uses gelatine at least once a year - for example, a Christmas Eve tradition in Poland is carp in jelly. Due to its clarity and rapid setting, Dr. Oetker's gelatine is not only ideal for fish, meat and vegetable jellies, but also for creams, cold cheesecakes and mousses. Using it is very simple: pour a measured amount into hot liquid (stock or water) and mix thoroughly until dissolved. If you use gelatine for sweet dishes, dissolve it in a small amount of hot water and add it to milk or whipped cream once it has cooled.
